Mono sound system working

This is my first article in this article I will tell you how the mono(monophonic) sound system work.

So, before knowing about the working of a mono sound system we first have to know what is mono(monophonic) audio.

  • Mono(monophonic) audio is audio in which we hear the same signal or the same frequency of sound in both ears with the same intensity.

If we remove any one side of the driver then also we can hear every single detail of sound from one ear.
The file size of mono is less as compared to stereo.

 Working on the mono sound system.

The mono(monophonic) sound system use only one signal and that one signal is distributed to several speakers.
All the speakers produce the same intensity of sound even if you are using a high-tech music system.



 As shown in the figure equal sound signals send to the speaker.

 Pros of mono(monophonic) audio.

  • We can easily record high-resolution files in fewer sizes.
  • The file size of mono audio is approximately half then the stereo audio.
  • Mono audio is much easier to manupmanip in an editing program.
Corns of mono(monophonic) audio.
  • There is no sound perspective.
  • The mono audio is not much interesting to hear.
  • We can not calculate the distance of objects recorded in the audio file.
