In today's technological world as technology is increasing people reduce doing physical work. 
We want to do everything only by just pressing a button.
So the facility is given to access all the electrical appliances remotely.

What is Remote control?

The Remote control is a component of the electronic devices (appliances) used to operate the device from a certain distance wirelessly.

For example, we use the remote control to operate devices such as a Television (TV), DVD players, Music players, and other home appliances, from a short distance.

In early television remote control, ultrasonic tones were used. but now in the Present day remote controls the Infrared used which send digitally coded pulses of infrared radiation to control functions such as power, volume, channels, or other features in a device. 

That is all about Remote control, Now we will know about its works.

Working with Remote control.

The remote controls use infrared(IR) light. The signal between the remote control and the device and its all controls consists of pulses of infrared light, which the human is not able to see but it can be seen through a digital camera or phone camera.
There is a transmitter in the remote control which sends out a stream of pulses of infrared light(in the form of  0 and 1) when the user presses a button on the remote. A transmitter is generally a LED bulb that is placed on the pointing end of the remote control. The infrared light pulses form a pattern unique to that button. The receiver in the device recognizes the pattern and causes the device to respond accordingly.

Nowadays the user convinces the facility of remote control is given by some smartphone companies in their phones like Xiaomi, Huawei, etc.
