Snapdragon 855 vs.Apple A12 bionic vs.Kirin 980 vs. Exynos 9820.

We all like flagship level smartphones but why ❓simply because we get all the latest top class features in those smartphones.
And the another reason of liking flagship smartphones are their performance because of the use of high efficiency chipsets(processors).

So, In this article we will compare the best latest processor from each processor manufacturer i.e. Qualcomm Snapdragon 855, Apple A12 bionic,Huawei High silicone kirin 980 ,Samsung Exynos 9820.

Basic Comparison of different processors.

SoC(System on a Chip) Configuration.

The Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 855 is the one Cortex A76 core clocked at 2.84GHz, three more Cortex A76 cores clocked at 2.42GHz and four Cortex A55 cores clocked at 1.8GHz. It is paired with a Adreno 640 GPU.

Apple’s A12 configuration is with a 2+4 solution that sees two Vortex cores at 2.5GHz and four Tempest cores at 1.6GHz, it is balanced by a powerful quad-core custom Apple GPU, which help in reduction of strain on the main processors for graphics.

The Samsung and Huawei uses 2+2+4 cores.
The Samsung has its 8nm processor whereas all the other chips are based on 7nm.

Camera Support

• The Snapdragon 855 can support up to a 32MP camera sensor in a single configuration and two 20MP sensors in a dual configuration.

• The A12 can support single 12MP or dual 12MP.

• Huawei (kirin 980) has the lead with support for a single 40MP sensor or a 40MP and 20MP dual lens array.

• The Exynos can support single 22MP sensor or dual 16MP sensors.

Availability.

• The Snapdragon 855 is available on major flagship smartphones in 2019,like Asus,One plus,Oppo,Xiaomi,Vivo,etc.

• The availability of Apple’s A12 bionic is already out on the market with the iPhone X,XS,XS Max and XR.

• The Kirin 980 is available on the Huawei smartphones like Huawei p30 pro,Huawei mate 20 pro,etc.

• Whereas, Exynos 9820 is available on the Samsung s10,s10e, s10+ Indian Units.
